When I started my online store Bertie and Percy Go Retro (6 months ago) my personal target was to learn one new thing every day!
Whether it be researching how to use SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) or how to pitch a price right.Or who is my target customer? How do I let them know I exist?
You see, I didn't think it would be a walk in the park, but I didn't realise how much learning and research I would have to do before every step. I just had interesting and desirable stuff to sell.
I was determined NOT to learn from my mistakes, but to avoid making them at all. It doesn't always work out that way (i'm only Human after all).
So if I see a term or phrase I don't quite get - I look it up.(ask Google) Soak in the information and apply it to whatever task it is i'm doing.
Today it was - how to write a good blog. I'm sure you CAN teach an old dog new tricks - I'm out to prove it anyway :)
