DIY Online Store - 6 months in and how am I doing?

When I started my online store Bertie and Percy Go Retro (6 months ago) my personal target was to learn one new thing every day! Whether it be researching how to use SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) or how to pitch a price right.Or who is my target customer? How do I let them know I exist? You see, I didn't think it would be a walk in the park, but I didn't realise how much learning and research I would have to do before every step. I just had interesting and desirable stuff to sell. Was an early start when the alarm went off at 5am! helped by my youngest Elf, Antonia we were set up and ready to trade by opening time 9.30am. Had a great day, sold some stuff and enjoyed mingling with traders and customers alike. Dressed the part too. Thanks to Rose & Brown Vintage Fairs for a successful Vintage venue at the historic Saltaire Victoria Hall.

Feels like its been a long time coming but finally doing something I am naturally good at. Ive always had a good eye for a bargain, and can spot a vintage piece at 10 paces. Downsizing my collection (hoard) will be tricky at times as I normally buy stuff I like which is then hard to part with. Getting to grips with the whole website thingamabob is another matter  (although im a quick learner)  I finally got my first item for sale posted today. Just need to get quicker and slicker and get the store full of goodies for you...
